What you get
TechSoup membership doesn't hand you software by itself — it's the verification step that unlocks everything else. Once you're validated, TechSoup's catalog opens up: donated and steeply discounted products from Microsoft, Adobe, Tableau, Bitdefender, and hundreds of other vendors, most for a small per-product admin fee instead of retail price. Some vendors, including HubSpot, also accept TechSoup validation as their own proof of nonprofit status. An optional $200/yr TechSoup Plus tier adds extra perks, but the Core membership that unlocks the catalog is free.
How to redeem
- Gather your IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter (or your IMLS public-library listing if you're a library).
- Create a free account at techsoup.org and start the membership application.
- Upload your determination letter and answer TechSoup's eligibility questions.
- Wait about two business days for validation, then browse the catalog — QuickBooks, Adobe, Tableau, Bitdefender, and hundreds of other discounted or donated products sit behind this membership.
